Guidelines for setting up your files for print.
Do
Convert text/type to outlines, paths, ect.
Create files at correct proportions
Create file at 1/4 scale at 400 dpi.
Flatten all your layers
Name your files a unique name, not just "Banner"
If not sure contact us for instructions on how to set up your file!
Don't
Use images off the web.
Layout your banner on 8.5x11 page - It will not scale up
proportionately
Use Fonts - Outline all your fonts at the final step before saving the
final version for output.
Powerpoint, Word & Publisher are not recommended as banner
layout programs.
File formats that we support:
Illustrator - .ai, .eps, .pdf
Photoshop - .psd, .tif, .jpg, .pdf
PDF
CDR - CorelDraw
In Design send .pdf
any .pdf we will review...
Programs intended to be used with your small desktop inkjet printer
probably will not work
to layout and print a good banner.
